We are delighted to be offering our fourth annual Classics Summer School this August at the Iris Classics Centre at Cheney. It will take place on the mornings of 27, 28 and 29th August 2018. This year the summer school will be themed on the world of Harry Potter and Hogwarts!

The format for each day will be as follows:

10.30 - 11.15 - refreshments and activities

11.15 - 12.45 - Latin (ages 7 - 10); Latin (ages 11 - 14); Greek (ages 7 - 10); Greek (ages 11 - 14)

The classes will be run by experienced teachers and will include activities as well as language learning. There will be themed activity stalls and refreshments between the morning classes.

If you would like your son/daughter to attend the summer school, you can book to attend by emailing info@irisproject.org.uk and stating name, age, and which language class he/she would like to join for the duration of the summer school. Attendees need to choose one language they would like to learn for the duration of the school - either Latin or Greek - as each class builds on the previous one.

In order to cover our costs for this event, we are charging £20 per child for the summer school - please do get in touch if this cost is likely to be prohibitive. You can pay online at http://www.eoccc.org.uk/support-us or pay on the door on the first morning of the summer school.

Please feel welcome to get in touch with any questions.
