The Iris Project has been working closely with Cheney School to develop a new and exciting programme of activities and events for primary schools. As part of our aim to develop a classics and museum specialism, for both Cheney School and its wider community, we have created a brochure with an archaeology theme. It contains events, both for primary schools to bring groups to, and for parents to book for after school.
The theme of this brochure, which covers the spring and summer terms, is Arthur Evans and the discovery of the Minoan civilisation in Crete. As well as a range of fascinating workshops and events, there are also themed competitions and information about the Minoans and their culture.
If you have any queries about primary outreach at Cheney School, please email David Gimson, UCAS and Higher Attainers Co-ordinator, on firstname.lastname@example.org
